What kind of work do you do with the cast?
Jeni Elizabeth: I pull for them for special events. But when they’re filming in the house, everything they’re wearing is their own.
How would you characterize the girls’ styles?
JE: Snooki is crazy-funky. JWoww is sexy-seductive. Sammi is more conservative and wears only black—we’re always trying to get her to wear color!
What are the essentials for a night out?
JE: Big earrings. The longest eyelashes possible. Bangle bracelets and huge rings. Spray tans! And, of course, a can of hairspray.
They do seem confident. How can the rest of us tap into that?
JE: It’s about being comfortable with yourself. Pauly’s new thing is wearing a watch on both wrists. At first I was like, “Huh?” But he’s trying it and loving it, so that’s what matters.
